Sinopsis:
She studied Philosophy and Filmmaking at ENAC (previously known as CUEC), UNAM, where she specialized in Direction and Photography. She has received numerous scholarships to produce short films and join filmmaking workshops, amongst them in Germany in 2019; a Russian scholarship to attend VGIK Summer School in Karelia 2017, a scholarship by the University of Arizona to shoot a documentary shortfilm, an UNAM scholarship to attend a screenwriting Workshop in London 2016. She has lately specialized in Genre´s studies applied to Filmmaking, given the fact that in Mexican cinema female representations, and specially those related to pleasure, are still very sexist and outmoded. She fights for more female heads of department in Mexican crews, as well as for the right of women to tell their own stories, which is not common in Mexico.
